I’ve found myself in a rather challenging spot as of late. Reading about how Burtnsky - a Canadian of Ukrainian heritage who spent many years as a janitor - became Photo London’s ‘Master of Photography’...well let’s just say it intrigued my desire to somehow reclaim this time in purgatory at the DMV.
We walked into a dimly lit traditional home with tile floors, uncomfortable looking wooden furniture, an old sewing machine with a work light angled over it, and an open space with a mat on the floor and a large mirror.
